Job Responsibility
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that focus on social, emotional, cognitive, physical development, and Chinese language acquisition for students.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and discovery, with an emphasis on fostering an early interest in the Chinese language and culture.
- Use positive discipline techniques to promote good behavior, respect, and a positive attitude toward language learning among children.
- Observe and assess childrenâs behavior, development, and language learning, providing constructive feedback to parents and guardians.
- Work closely with parents, guardians, and other teachers to support each childâs individual needs and interests.
- Possess at least Diploma/ Advanced Diploma/ Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Relevant experience working with toddlers, preferably in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Proficiency in spoken and written mandarin, with the ability to teach basic language skills effectively.
- Knowledge of child development theories, best practices in early childhood education, and language acquisition principles.
- Ability to create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with parents, guardians, and other teachers.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with young children.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and documentation.
