Sales Engineer (Entry Level)

As a Sales Engineer, you will be the voice of our organization, convincing customers to adopt solar, developing new leads, maintaining expectations throughout the sales cycle, and closing deals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers through outbound calls, WhatsApp and email, then follow up on leads.
  • Activate company promotions and activities to boost enquiries and generate sales leads.
  • Maximize sales volume and value using persuasive selling methods and by understanding customers' needs.
  • Be the voice of the customer: addressing questions, supplying additional info on our residential solar photovoltaic solutions, and managing customers' expectations.
  • Manage all stages of the sales cycle including lead qualification and conversion, document collection, closing deals, and following up on payment. 
  • Track sales progress on a CRM system and ensure all relevant data and documents are captured.
  • If when it is necessary, then proceed to outdoor sales.

Qualifications

  • Experience in B2C sales and telemarketing.
  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business, Engineering, or Mass Communication. 
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • A knack for quickly understanding technical product information and assessing customers' requirements.
  • Having a background in solar photovoltaic is a bonus. 
  • A preference for being indoors.
