Job Description

The Software Engineer is responsible for performing analysis, design, and coding of functional requirements specifications of applications.

• Design and architect complex enterprise-level applications to support company operations and business growth.
• Develop and code business applications, multi-tiered web, and client-server applications using PHP, MySQL, MVC, Node.js, Python, JQuery, HTML5 on the Linux platform.
• Provide technical expertise to maintain environments and troubleshoot issues with software delivery.
• Technical design, mentoring, and implementation of best practices and processes.
• Develop the software architecture based on business requirements and constraints.
• Stay on the leading edge of development practices.
• Be passionate about great technologies, especially open source.
• Understand business needs and know how to create the tools to manage them.
• Support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments when required.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related qualification (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
• Experience in the design, development, and support of software systems is an added advantage. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Understanding and hands-on working knowledge in PHP, MySQL, Node.js, Python, JQuery, and Linux platform.
• Excellent analytical skills and able to resolve issues and offer solutions and creative ideas.
• Able to understand and develop code using PHP, Node.js, JQuery, Python, CSS, and HTML programming.
• Candidates who do not have all the stated skill sets mentioned above, but have confidence and willingness to learn and acquire the desired new skill set and any other skill set due to changing business requirements, are encouraged to apply.
