Wentel Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is actively seeking individuals with your skillset to join our team as Building Maintenance Supervisor/Technician .

• 5-day work (Monday - Friday)

ResponsibilitiesÂ

• Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs.
• Maintaining the building equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
• Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Painting the building when old paint has become faded or chipped
• Planning and scheduling repairs.
• Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
• Helping develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.
• Maintaining the inventory records for equipment and supplies.

Job Requirements

• Vocational cert, diploma, or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 2 yearsâ experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical.
• Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
