Job Description

Ensure all mechanical systems design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance follow Bosch safety requirements, guidelines, and local regulatory requirements.

FCM Mechanical Project Management:

  1. Conduct project management with excellent quality of work, cost control, and on-time delivery.
  2. Responsible to update project status during weekly meetings and submit weekly reports to your supervisor.

Mechanical HVAC System Management:

  1. Responsible for capacity management, maintenance, troubleshooting, technical support, upgrading, and improvement.
  2. Zero Interruption to Production (ITP) is expected.

Work closely with the Site Safety Officer (HSE) and DH to ensure safe work practices are always practiced in Bosch. Responsible for safety checking of mechanical system maintenance and system safety.

Ensure all mechanical projects have a proper RFQ and scope agreed upon by the customer. Changes in RFQ are to be acknowledged by the customer. Facility acceptance tests need to be conducted after each project and agreed upon by the customer.

Owner of mechanical system reliability, capacity, and uptime control. Develop and define mechanical system KPI. Responsible for updating monthly system uptime, Preventive Maintenance (PM) completion, Capacity, Corrective Maintenance (CM) status, and cost spending of the system.

Responsible to order and keep sufficient critical spare parts on-site for all mechanical systems. To be proxy for machine hook-ups and co-own mechanical system local regulatory permits, ensuring permits comply with government rules and regulations and are valid at all times.

Involvement in all Internal and External audits. Ensure all OPLs related to this audit are closed in a timely manner.

Coordinate all external contractors in their work, safeguarding the compliance of health, safety, and environmental obligations. Work hand in hand with consultants or other FCM coordinators in mechanical system improvement.

Responsible for identifying and driving energy conservation projects related to mechanical systems. Work closely with respective departments to resolve all FCM HVAC system-related issues and support achieving departmental goals.

To attend and complete any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time. Responsible for supporting facilities urgent calls or call back when required.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  2. A minimum of 5 years working experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing facilities environment.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Be flexible, responsible, and mature in decision making & good sense of urgency.
  5. Meticulous, result-oriented, motivated, resourceful, self-starter, able to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
  6. Ability to communicate at all levels of management and cross-functionally with business partners.
  7. Mechanical/HVAC planning and project lead in mechanical systems and HVAC maintenance.
  8. Building maintenance management skills & Preventive maintenance and facilities system troubleshooting.
