about the job

• Oversee the academic program to ensure it aligns with the Language Centre's standardized curriculum, including hiring, training, and supervising instructional staff.
• Manage classroom instruction, supervise student placement and evaluation, and ensure the instructional budget adheres to guidelines.
• Handle the ordering and maintenance of instructional materials, class scheduling, and new student orientation.
• Submit academic reports to universities, sponsors, director of the Academic Planning & Training Unit as required.
• Implement retention strategies, assist with special programs, maintain Centre operations and perform other assigned duties.

requirements

• A Master's degree in ESL, TESOL, TEFL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience is required.
• At least five years of ESL/EFL teaching experience and a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience overseeing teachers and teaching-related responsibilities, including curriculum planning and implementation.
