Job Title: Accounts Executive

Job Type: Full time

Responsibilities:

• Handles daily accounting and finance operations of assigned entities, including checking collections, bank reconciliations, processing invoices for payments, and monthly closing.
• Liaise with AP and AR functions on month-end close activities to obtain information regarding accruals and facilitate review and approval processes.
• Responsible for the preparation, uploading, and posting of journals to the financial system, ensuring all journals are supported by appropriate documentation and approvals.
• Prepare monthly notes to the balance sheet (notes pack), identifying discrepancies and errors, and proposing remedial actions.
• Ensure all documentation of month-end close activities is fully supported and approved, and that hard copy documentation is filed appropriately for easy reference.
• Attend to all matters related to year-end statutory audits and tax filings in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate and assist in work automation and new ERP projects, collaborating closely with the team and superior.
• Handle the preparation of incentives and other marketing-related payments, ensuring timely payouts.
• Carry out ad-hoc assignments as delegated by superior and Senior Management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
• At least 3-4 years of working experience in a related field.
• Audit experience is an added advantage.
