Internship Data Center Operation Technician

-Perform hardware support and maintenance — installations, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC). _ -Handle IT equipment decommissioning, including servers, storage, and networking devices. _ -Conduct media management — secure HDD/SSD destruction and disposal. _ -Manage structured cabling tasks, including connecting and disconnecting patch cables. _ -Perform hardware break-fix support — replace or reseat HDDs, memory, mainboards, SFP modules, and related components. _ -Conduct regular physical and visual inspections of equipment and facility conditions. _ -Provide on-site support during scheduled maintenance and change activities. _ -Troubleshoot IT and network hardware issues in collaboration with technical teams. _ -Maintain and track inventory of RMA parts, cold spares, and tools. _ -Coordinate and supervise vendor activities, including access control and site escorting. _ -Support POP site operations and provide on-call standby assistance as needed. _ -Prepare accurate and timely reports on operational activities, incidents, and improvements. _ -Adhere to all safety, security, and operational compliance standards. _ -Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure smooth data center operations. ; JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-Good understanding of structured cabling systems, patching standards, and hardware installations. _ -Hands-on experience in IT hardware support, troubleshooting, and component replacement. _ -Strong sense of urgency and ability to respond effectively to incidents. _ -Familiar with incident and change management processes. _ -Experience in large-scale or critical environments is an advantage. _ -Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply. _ -Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills. _ -Willingness to work rotational shifts (24/7 support) and provide after-hours or on-call support. _ Added Advantage: -Knowledge in rack, space, power, and cooling capacity management. _ -Understanding of data center environmental systems (UPS, CRAC, PDUs). _ -Familiar with DCIM or ticketing systems. _ -Professional certifications such as CDCP, ITIL, Server+, Linux+, Network+, A+, or CCNA are preferred.
