Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Equipment, After Sales and Service activities such as preparing and submitting quotations and tenders and proposing service contracts.
- Responsible for taking care of existing customers and acquiring new customers for special projects.
- Manage daily sales operations including cold calling, customer visits, meetings, and related matters. Plan and manage the sales process from inquiry until submission of billing documents.
- Prepare weekly sales reports and sales forecasts.
- Work closely with the Product Application Unit to secure new inquiries for equipment.
- Collaborate with the Service Team to secure service sales and service contracts.
- Create and build rapport with customers.
- Adapt new business strategies in accordance with the types of clients secured by the Company, working towards weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Utilize effective office skills to document and communicate all customer interactions, manage the sales pipeline, track quotes, capture competitive information, and maintain accurate customer records.
- Familiarity with Business Portals and systems such as SUS Portal, Smart Gep, Ariba, CRM, etc.
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent.
- Preferably specialized in Engineering/Technical/IT or equivalent.
- Familiarity with industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, and water & wastewater treatment engineering companies.
- 1-2 years of experience in Engineering Sales, with preference for candidates in the analyzer field.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel extensively at short notice.
- Must be willing to engage with customers and business partners.
- Result-driven, self-motivated, and possess a positive working attitude, with the ability to work independently.
- Required Languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and problem-solving abilities.
- Candidates must be stationed in Bintulu, Sarawak (East Malaysia) & Johor (Southern) .
