Job Responsibility

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Follow recipes and portion sizes accurately to prepare menu items.
  • Cook food according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring proper presentation.
  • Prepare a variety of dishes, including vegetables, soups, breakfast items, and entrees.
  • Utilize various cooking methods to prepare meats and vegetables.
  • Understand cooking temperatures, soup and sauce making, and vegetable preparation.
  • Set up the station with necessary ingredients and equipment for service.
  • Check supplies and prep lists to ensure timely preparation of menu items.
  • Replenish service lines and restock workstation for the next shift.
  • Maintain proper storage of all food products at correct levels and locations.

Job Requirements

  • Culinary certificate or diploma preferred, but not required.
  • 1 to 2 years of work experience in a similar position preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Can speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle kitchen operations.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Commitment to adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
