Job Description

  1. Responsible for business development on renewable solar market segment, proposing and implementing the complete marketing & commercial strategy and the related business plan to develop business opportunities.
  2. Responsibility for renewable solar projects annual revenue and profitability targets.
  3. Responsible to initiate and drive technical, financial, legal business developments, to establish renewable solar energy supply proposals.
  4. Responsible for monitoring renewable solar contract operations KPI and customer satisfaction.
  5. Leading role in marketing, commercial, and technical activities, supported for technical, legal, and financial matters.
  6. Represent the Company for all renewable energy projects.
  7. Carrying out business development and sales activities based on the roadmap and strategy agreed by management.
  8. Manage and establish a pipeline of large-scale renewable energy projects with a key focus on solar.
  9. Develop the project from concept to bid, including sourcing and securing land for the projects.
  10. Steer internal approval processes and management approval papers in close collaboration with the Financial and Legal teams.
  11. Implement Corporate PPA frameworks to sell renewable energy certificates under VPPA schemes.
  12. Facilitate commercial implementation of secured large scale renewable projects in support of the technical project director.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Strong understanding of the renewable energy industry, power markets, and project development.
  2. Excellent business development skills with proven track record in the area of renewable energy from concept to bid submission.
  3. Good understanding of project finance, capital structuring, and financial modelling.
  4. Capable to structure a general transaction & management of bid.
  5. Manage internal resources, consultants, stakeholders, adhering to transaction timeline, and professional writing skills for internal approval papers and bid submission.
  6. Strong understanding of power project development (land, grid interconnection, permitting).
  7. Effective network with contractors, banks, investors, landowners, and government agencies.
  8. Excited about digitalisation, decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and battery technology.
  9. Fluent in English both in writing and presentation.
  10. Consolidation of complex project structures, bid management, and approval papers.
