Job responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize the supply chain.
- Identify and onboard strategic suppliers capable of meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to drive continuous improvement and mitigate risks.
- Lead cost-saving initiatives and drive projects to achieve cost reductions without compromising quality or delivery.
- Stay informed about market trends, industry regulations, and technological advancements relevant to sourcing and supply chain management.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure team success and professional growth.
Job requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management or related discipline
- Ideally 8 or more years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, within an engineering manufacturing setting.
- Experience with international sourcing and global supply chain management
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.) and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in both Mandarin and English languages for business needs
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM) or equivalent is a plus
- Willingness and ability to travel overseas (China, Singapore, etc.)
