Job Description

You will be in charge of:

• Financial Analysis & Reporting:
  • Analyze financial data, including sales performance, cost structures, profitability, and market trends.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for commercial and sales teams, clearly communicating financial performance and key metrics.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Business Partnering:
  • Build strong relationships with commercial and sales teams, acting as a trusted advisor and financial resource.
  • Partner with them to identify and evaluate business opportunities, assessing financial viability and potential risks and rewards.
  • Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies, promotions, and other initiatives to drive profitability.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Collaborate with commercial and sales teams to develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
  • Assist in the creation of the annual budget, allocating resources efficiently to support business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze variances between actual results and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for course correction.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess potential financial risks associated with commercial activities.
  • Work with commercial and sales teams to develop mitigation strategies to minimize financial risks.
  • Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
• Other Duties:
  • Support the implementation of financial systems and processes for the commercial function.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in commercial finance.
  • May participate in cross-functional projects as needed.

The Successful Applicant

You will be suitable for this role if you:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred)
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in commercial finance or FP&A roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel with advanced functions)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Understanding of commercial operations (a plus)

You will be rewarded with an attractive salary of RM 16,000 - RM 19,000 monthly.
