Overview Of The Role:

• The role involves supporting store objectives by delivering excellent customer service and effectively maintaining designated sections or zones. As a part-time casual team member, the primary focus will be on providing quality customer service, processing transactions efficiently, and ensuring store standards are upheld in terms of housekeeping and stock management. The role demands an understanding of store operations, involving direct interaction with customers to achieve sales targets and enhance customer experience.

What You Will Do:

General

• Maintain responsibility for one or several sections of the store as instructed by your Manager, ensuring the area is kept organized with correct folding and displaying of products.
• Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently, accurately, and quickly in all payment methods to ensure smooth customer transactions.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained on the shop floor and keep Cash desk areas replenished and tidy throughout the day.
• Provide quality customer service either face-to-face or over the telephone, ensuring customers are acknowledged and assisted promptly.
• Maintain excellent standards in the stockroom by organizing and arranging stock efficiently for easy access and inventory management.
• Continually develop knowledge of stocks and promotions throughout the store to assist in customer enquiries and sales.
• Ensure employees are knowledgeable and updated on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to comply with company standards.
• Implement store self-assessment audits and reviews of internal audit reports, devising action plans with management to ensure compliance.
• Maintain awareness of Health and Safety protocols, ensuring safe working practices and communication with management in case of accidents.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive store experiences.
• Strong organizational and stock management skills to maintain effective store operations.
• Ability to perform financial transactions quickly and accurately across different payment methods.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to support teamwork and customer interactions.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• Previous experience in fashion retail or excellent customer service experience preferred.
• Possession of strong communication skills, being articulate and clear in interactions.
• Energetic and enthusiastic approach, contributing positively to the team environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showcasing initiative and self-motivation.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet store needs.
