Job Description
Assist in the research and development of former.
Working closely with existing and potential former suppliers on the purchase of formers.
Up keeping former inventory stock accuracy; including new former stock level and used former. Always ensure sufficient good quality former for production usage
Plan, arrange and supervise formers dismantling and/or changing from production lines in effective, efficient and safe manner.
Ensure good inventory management using FIFO approach and ensure good 5S, maintenance, cleanliness, storage and quality of formers.
Keeping good record of former life span.
Ensure disposal of aging formers are carried out as per schedule and company procedures.
Responsible for the maintenance and good performance of Kiln firing machine and other formers cleaning machines and equipment. Establish checking procedure and standard for former after cleaning process.
Ensure required corrective and preventive action have been taken to rectify former related quality issues.
Lead, train and motivate former team towards achieving department and company objectives.
Responsible for budgetary control of formers section.
Work closely and collaboratively with Planning, Production, Purchasing, Engineering and other relevant departments.
Ensuring all processes is consistent with written work instructions and procedures.
Complying with all relevant ISO/GMP standards.
All other relevant tasks that may be assigned .
