Job Summary You are required to analyse market trends and various business opportunities from a financial perspective. - Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.
- Oversee the operations and development of the company's finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
- Supervise the preparation of monthly account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
- Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company's finances.
- Supervise the documentation of the company's financial status and forecasts.
- Mediate between the organization, employees, stakeholders, shareholders and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.
- Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company's status and financial forecasts.
- Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports;
- Monitor the Company's capital expenditure and return on investment;
- Coordinate, monitor and ensure full compliance of banks' financing;
- Handles audit, treasury and banking, cash flow management, taxation, risk management, and various administration matters.
- Ensures a strong accounting, operational control environment and internal controls to safeguard assets, improve operations and profitability.
- Leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive annual business plan which is aligned with the company's and brand's strategic direction; and
- Develop a strong financial control environment and provide meaningful financial information for decision making.
- Possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Accounting or equivalent.
- At least 10 year(s) experience the role of general accounting experience and 1-2 year(s) of professional experience in finance manager is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office,and SQL or other IT tool.
- Excellent ability to problem solve along with solid analytical skills, understanding of the business process, and systems optimization.
- Comfortable interacting with all levels of management in multiple areas.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
- Ability to review data and make relevant management decisions.
- Strong financial system and business administration understanding.
- Able to lead the finance team and proven work experience as a leader.
- Able to converse in verbal and written Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Good team player with good communication skills, strong commitment and self-motivated.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized.
