Finance & Accounts Manager

An exciting opportunity for an experienced finance and accounting professional to join our team at our Bukit Raja office. The successful candidate will oversee the financial and accounting operations of the Group, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting other departments such as engineering, procurement, and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Monitor and manage the Group's cash flow to ensure efficient use of funds.
• Month-end closing and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the financial performance of the Group.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly reports to the Board of Directors.
• Supervise the account/admin/HR team and collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with the Group's policies, procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and bankers.
• Support and undertake ad-hoc matters as required by Management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance/Accounting or a professional accounting qualification such as MICPA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Minimum 5 years related working experience managing an accounting and finance team in a commercial enterprise.
• In-depth knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, and financial analysis - knowledge of consolidation will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
• Resourceful, positive attitude, and meticulous with good attention to details.
