Job Description

This role is based in our Menara Skymind Penang office.

The Marketing Operations Manager plays a crucial role in optimizing marketing processes, managing technology platforms, and executing email marketing campaigns across ICP. This role focuses on operational excellence, system management, and bringing marketing operations best practices to the team. 

Key Responsibilities 

Marketing Operations & Technology Management: 

• Own day-to-day management of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems to ensure seamless campaign execution 

• Develop and optimize marketing campaign processes to increase scale, drive efficiency, and improve conversions through data-driven insights 

• Manage marketing tech stack integration and data flow between systems 

• Maintain data hygiene, lead routing rules, and campaign tracking mechanisms 

• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and marketing best practices 

Email Marketing & Campaign Execution: 

• Develop and manage audience segmentation strategies to ensure targeted, personalized messaging 

• Create and optimize nurture campaigns aligned to firm priorities for lead generation 

• Implement A/B testing frameworks to continuously improve email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) 

• Develop event follow-up email sequences and tracking to ensure timely engagement with qualified leads 

• Maintain email templates, landing pages, and forms within the marketing tech stack 

Research & Continuous Improvement: 

• Proactively research and stay current on marketing operations trends, technology innovations, and industry best practices 

• Monitor market developments in marketing automation, email marketing, and campaign management 

• Bring recommendations for process improvements and new capabilities internally 

• Take initiative to learn new features and optimize existing tools within the marketing tech stack 

• Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency based on market insights and performance data 

Performance Measurement & Reporting: 

• Track and report on campaign performance metrics and operational KPIs 

• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis 

• Support measurement frameworks to track marketing-driven pipeline and revenue impact 

• Generate regular reports on marketing activities for stakeholders 

• Collaborate with sales teams and regional marketing managers to align marketing operations with business goals 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field 

• 2-4 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing or marketing automation roles 

• Proven track record in campaign management and audience segmentation 

• Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems 

• Familiarity with digital marketing best practices and measurement 

• Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing campaign performance and operational metrics 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

• Self-starter who takes initiative to research industry trends and best practices independently 

Desired Skills 

• Marketo Certified Expert or Marketo Certified Associate 

• Experience with marketing analytics and reporting tools 

• Knowledge of API integrations and data mapping 

• Experience supporting event marketing programs 

• Understanding of lead scoring, lead lifecycle management, and attribution models 

• Familiarity with project management methodologies 

This position requires an operationally-focused marketing operations manager who is detail-oriented, proactive in staying current with industry trends, and capable of managing marketing technology while executing high-quality email campaigns. The ideal candidate will bring fresh perspectives and marketing operations best practices to elevate the team's capabilities.
