Job Details
Key Responsibilities Welcome customers politely and assist with orders. Enter orders correctly into the POS system. Handle cash, card, QR and e-wallet payments. Issue receipts and return the correct balance. Check bills carefully before collecting payment. Manage takeaway and delivery-platform orders. Answer customer questions about the menu and promotions. Maintain sufficient small change in the cash drawer. Keep the cashier counter clean, organised and presentable. Record cancelled orders, discounts and refunds with supervisor approval. Perform opening and closing cash counts. Prepare the daily sales and cash collection report. Report cash shortages, overages or system problems immediately. Follow the restaurant’s cash-handling and customer-service SOPs. Assist the service team during busy periods when required. Requirements Honest, responsible and punctual.
