Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a Facilities Engineer .

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage & maintain all facilities installations and building to ensure smooth operation of utilities supplies to production operations.
2. Plan, install and commission new equipment and machineries to ensure smooth operation of utilities supplies with more reliable facility installations.
3. Plan and implement improvements for all related works and projects.
4. Conduct data analysis for energy consumption and control budget to initiate and enhance cost saving programs to meet IEHS goals.
5. Liaise with relevant authorities, consultants, suppliers & vendors to ensure full compliance of legal requirements, prompt execution on all tasks given.
6. Maintain the certification of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 to ensure compliance of legal requirements, maintaining company image & standards.

Job Location: This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience different exciting local cultures in this historical state. Nearby are malls and various restaurants. It is also close to recreation parks and a stadium.

What you will bring along:

1. Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related program.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in semiconductor environment.
3. Adequate knowledge in utilities & facilities maintenance such as Air compressor, HVAC, Fire Protection System, electrical installation, etc.
4. Obtained relevant training, dialogues and courses from various authorities’ department & sources.
5. Adequate knowledge of project management.
6. Preferably with good interpersonal and communication skills.
