Purpose Statement: The role is responsible for optimizing and managing the processes and systems involved in manufacturing operations using digital technologies. They utilize tools such as automation, data analytics, simulation, and machine learning to improve efficiency, quality, and agility in manufacturing processes. Their role involves implementing digital solutions to streamline production, reduce costs and enhance overall performance in manufacturing facilities.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  1. Develops Manufacturing solutions/ Provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements.
  2. Utilizes appropriate tools and equipment to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification.
  3. Demonstrates a clear, discipline-specific understanding of the full Plexus Manufacturing processes/ Product Requirements & Specifications as it applies to their role.
  4. Successfully executes responsibilities in adherence to Plexus' Manufacturing Processes.
  5. Produces comprehensive project documentation based on the needs of the project and in accordance with the quality and change management procedures and guidelines, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science is required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher is preferred.
  2. Less than One (1) year of related experience is required; One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred.
  3. An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

Other Qualifications:

  1. Advanced computer skills.
  2. Proficiency in CAD and CAM software for designing and programming manufacturing processes.
  3. Thorough understanding of PLM systems to manage product lifecycles effectively.
  4. Proficiency in simulation and data analysis software are crucial for optimizing production workflows and analyzing manufacturing data.
  5. Familiarity with automation technologies and basic programming knowledge.
  6. Intermediate Decision Making, Problem Solving Skills.
  7. Intermediate Verbal and Written Communications Skills.
  8. Strong Analytical and statistical analysis Skills; Statistical Process Control Software Skills.
  9. Proactive and ability to work in a Cross-Discipline team environment.
  10. Understand Structured Design.
  11. Ability to develop good working relationships with team members and customers.
  12. Lab tool/ test/measurement equipment experience preferred.
