Job Responsibility
- Drive the logistic vehicle to transport materials, equipment's, or goods to and from various locations.
- Load and unload cargo from the logistic vehicle.
- Ensure that the cargo is properly secured and loaded in a safe manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure that the logistic vehicle is in good condition.
- Monitor the vehicleâs maintenance and report any issues or malfunctions to the Central Kitchen Manager.
- Arrange scheduled and unscheduled repair/maintenance for the logistic vehicle with the respective workshop.
- Liaise with CK Manager to arrange for logistic vehiclesâ insurance, road tax, JPJ inspection and GDL license renewal before expiry.
- Follow all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving the logistic vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments including date of delivery, name of recipient, and condition of items upon arrival of destination.
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedule.
- Keep the logistic vehicle clean and presentable.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Minimum Education Level: SPM/A-Levels.
- Minimum of 2 yearsâ experience in the respective field.
- Must have GDL D license; GDL E if operating 5 ton and above vehicle.
- Attention to detail and good planning skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items for an extended time.
- Ability to record, read and follow recipes.
- Knowledge of Central Kitchen machineries and equipment used for production.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Ability to work with team members to solve problems.
- Familiar with using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Willing to work for 6 days a week, Saturday & Sunday and Public Holiday.
