JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Executive of Human Capital collaborates with the Senior Manager to support and implement the Human Capital programs and policies aimed at fostering an employee-oriented, high-performance culture. This role entails assisting the Human Capital Department across various activities, from recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring, and employee engagement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collaborate with the Human Capital team on recruitment processes, including job posting, resume screening, background checks, and participation in interviews, when required.
2. Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
3. Generate payroll reports, address discrepancies, and provide timely resolution to payroll-related queries.
4. Administer employee compensation programs, ensuring timely reporting, claims management and coordination with medical benefit agencies (both outpatient and inpatient).
5. Maintain Human Capital operational documents, including the Employee Handbook, Employment Contracts, and Master Data Staff List, etc.
6. Coordinate and manage employee induction, orientation, probationary reviews, performance appraisal, and terminations.
7. Support employee engagement activities, collaborating closely with relevant parties.
8. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, including documentation control, process improvement, and internal audits.
9. Maintain, compile, and update statistical reports on hiring, transfers, performance evaluations, attendance and leave, etc.
10. Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation, including employee files, attendance and timekeeping.
11. Support the development and implementation of training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and competencies.
12. Act as a liaison with government authorities, ensuring full regulatory compliance with labor laws, standards, and legislation.
13. Provide clerical and administrative support, handling with employee requests related to grievances, rules, and regulations.
14. Manage day-to-day operation and administrative tasks, including procuring office supplies, and facility management.
15. Undertake any other tasks, projects, or ad-hoc duties assigned by immediate superiors and management.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management and/or equivalent.
2. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant working experience, with at least five (5) years of experience at the managerial level.
3. Proven experience in payroll processing and knowledge of relevant software.
4. Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance standards.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE
1. Excellent command of both verbal and written English and Bahasa, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse backgrounds and cultures.
2. Thorough knowledge of Malaysian Labour Laws and recent government announcements.
3. Ability to multitask, confidence, meticulousness, and the capability to work independently.
4. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
5. Have experience doing payroll and statutory payments.
