Our team oversees and optimizes the flow of goods, information, and financial decisions within ResMed's global supply chain network to meet customer demands efficiently and cost-effectively.
As the Order Execution Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and executing Work Orders and Purchase Orders for ResMed manufacturing sites. Your focus will be on ensuring these orders are created and updated accurately and promptly in our ERP system, in response to signals from the Supply Planning team and other relevant stakeholders.
Let's Talk About the Role
Ensure accurate and timely creation and modification of Work Orders in the ERP system, aligned with the firm Supply Plan and Work order schedules.
Generate Purchase Orders daily and as required, based on signals from the Planning system and inputs from Supply Planners.
Update Purchase Orders accurately and promptly in response to confirmations from Supply Planners and Supplier requests.
Ensure timely receipt and ERP system update of Purchase Order Acknowledgements from Suppliers, and follow up or escalate issues as needed.
Establish and maintain processes for updating Work Orders with necessary information regarding issues or changes.
Expedite components during frozen periods when required.
Review and maintain closure of Purchase Orders and Work Orders, ensuring any variances are approved by the Supply Coordinator.
Identify opportunities to enhance the creation and modification process of Work Orders and Purchase Orders, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a high level of proficiency in ERP system usage through ongoing learning.
Proactively minimize late change requests by collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
Build and maintain trust and rapport with all stakeholders.
Let's Talk About You
Diploma or Degree in a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong knowledge and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, o9) and proficiency in MS Office.
Critical thinking skills with strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to understand business needs and collaborate effectively to meet business goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of effective stakeholder collaboration.
High degree of accountability and a history of delivering excellence.
