We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Database Solutions Delivery Manager to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-tier services to the overseas customers, addressing their technical issues and concerns. You will play a critical role in maintaining customer trust and satisfaction by ensuring efficient and effective resolution of technical issues. This is a remote position based in Malaysia, with travel to other ASEAN countries as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a customer advocate internally.
- Stay current with new OceanBase features and releases.
- Collaborate with peers and colleagues to address customer concerns.
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to appropriate internal teams.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction in all interactions.
- Provide remote or on-site support to customers.
- Offer technical resolutions or architecture suggestions to customers.
- Document technical work and research to aid peers, enhance the product, and improve customer experience.
Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in customer-facing services or technical solution delivery.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (reading, writing, and speaking) is a must.
- Basic understanding of Operating Systems and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
- Prior experience with RDBMS such as MySQL, Oracle, DB2, etc.
- Proficiency in basic Linux operations.
- Willingness to travel to other ASEAN countries (up to 50% travel).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Ali-Cloud, GCP, Azure, etc.
- Experience with distributed systems or big data.
- Background in customer relationship management.
- Troubleshooting skills are a plus.
