Full job description
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. To develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Responsible for overall project controlling activities that include scheduling, achievement of cost saving, maintaining quality of project deliverables, mitigating risks and realization of project goals.
- Lead project teams to execute project tasks according to achieve agreed targets for assigned projects within the procedure and customers’ expectations.
- Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Prepare and update project planning that includes resources planning, project schedule and cost calculations ensuring projects are completed within deadlines and budgets.
- Evaluate effectively, select and manage subcontractors to achieve optimal cost, delivery and quality of materials sourced.
- Facilitate project closure activities, including finalizing deliverables and obtaining customers’ acceptance.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in developing project budgets and cost estimates, monitor project expenses and resource utilization and ensure project activities are carried out within the allocated budget.
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, authorities, subcontractors and team members to ensure effective communication.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the field.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels.
- Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to anticipate potential issues and develop proactive solutions.
- Ability to lead and motivate project teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM6,000.00 – RM9,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Project management: 5 years (Required)
- Project engineering: 5 years (Required)
