- Set up tool qualification criteria and implement monitoring through Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts.
- Develop and validate the optimal measurement scheme for variable, attribute, or functional testing.
- Ensure engineering team is trained on recipe maintenance, tool recovery, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities for the assigned tools.
- Collaborate with Engineering Ops and/or Application teams to optimize tool maintenance schedules and utilization.
- Work with Process team to enhance inline detection, improve efficiency, reduce cost, reduce tool measurement variability and improve machine availability.
- Work proactively to problem solve with yield or quality impact on our products through development of measurement recipes that can provide quick and accurate feedback on the product integrity.
- Support Fab through data analysis, providing knowledgeable summations of results and recommendations on how to proceed with process changes, equipment availability improvements, and cost reduction work.
- Develop a basic understanding of the manufacturing and support systems and site culture.
- Begin to identify, and work with leadership to prioritize, opportunities for improvement.
- Demonstrate an understanding of current practices and specifications and develop an actionable plan for continuous improvement, yield improvement, cost savings, projects, etc.
- Develop and implement a migration strategy from preventive to predictive maintenance.
