  1. Set up tool qualification criteria and implement monitoring through Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts.
  2. Develop and validate the optimal measurement scheme for variable, attribute, or functional testing.
  3. Ensure engineering team is trained on recipe maintenance, tool recovery, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities for the assigned tools.
  4. Collaborate with Engineering Ops and/or Application teams to optimize tool maintenance schedules and utilization.
  5. Work with Process team to enhance inline detection, improve efficiency, reduce cost, reduce tool measurement variability and improve machine availability.
  6. Work proactively to problem solve with yield or quality impact on our products through development of measurement recipes that can provide quick and accurate feedback on the product integrity.
  7. Support Fab through data analysis, providing knowledgeable summations of results and recommendations on how to proceed with process changes, equipment availability improvements, and cost reduction work.
  8. Develop a basic understanding of the manufacturing and support systems and site culture.
  9. Begin to identify, and work with leadership to prioritize, opportunities for improvement.
  10. Demonstrate an understanding of current practices and specifications and develop an actionable plan for continuous improvement, yield improvement, cost savings, projects, etc.
  11. Develop and implement a migration strategy from preventive to predictive maintenance.
