Job Description:

LITIGATION LAWYER

1. To handle a general civil litigation portfolio;
2. Attending clients and other works assigned by the firm from time to time;
3. Preparing all documents and cause papers required to file cases and other matters effectively;
4. Good communication and writing skills both in English and Bahasa Malaysia;
5. Able to work as a team, responsible, reliable, committed, and with a good and positive working attitude.

CHAMBERING / PUPILLAGE (LITIGATION)

1. Assist Master-in-chamber and/or Legal Associate in handling all litigation work-related matters such as LOD, Business Agreement, Share sales & others;
2. Conduct legal research;
3. Prepare related legal documents, cause papers and correspondences for litigation matters;
4. Attend Court proceedings with master/legal associate i.e. case management, mention, decision, hearing and trial when needed and necessary;
5. Any other duties as may be reasonably expected and required by the Firm.

CHAMBERING / PUPILLAGE (CONVEYANCING)

1. Assist Master-in-chamber and/or Legal Associate in handling all aspects of conveyancing works such as prepare related SPA and loans documents;
2. Knowledge and experience in sub-sale will serve as an advantage;
3. Attending clients and other works assigned by the firm from time to time;

Qualifications and Requirements:

LITIGATION LAWYER

1. Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Law with qualified practicing certificates or equivalent;
2. Experience in civil litigation and/or corporate litigation matters is required for this position;
3. Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply.

CHAMBERING / PUPILLAGE (LITIGATION & CONVEYANCING)

1. Satisfied all the legal requirements necessary to begin Pupillage;
2. Good communication and writing skills both in English and Bahasa Malaysia;
3. Must possess own transport, be willing to travel and able to attend to ad-hoc matters;
4. Interested in being exposed to all areas of the law;
5. Good interpersonal skills with a positive working attitude;
6. Ready to join immediately.

Located at Setia Alam, Selangor
Working day: Monday - Friday
Office hours: 9.00am – 6.00 pm
