Digitalization and Automation Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Drive the innovation process, research, planning, and managing Automation and Digitalization projects.
2. Plan, troubleshoot, and supervise maintenance activities of SCADA/PLC systems for process control.
3. Prepare technical specifications for quotations/open tenders for SCADA development and Digitalization work.
4. Productivity improvement / daily management / risk management / cost reduction through dashboard design.
5. Works with Engineers, Designers, and Partners to develop concepts designs for Digitalization and Automation.
6. Apply appropriate problem-solving tools, 8D, 5 Whys for RCCA.
7. Design or Troubleshoot programming for automation and control system involving PLC/Touch Screens/SCADA.
8. Provide high-quality design, specification, scope, cost estimates, and troubleshoot instrumentation control systems for any improvement projects on-site.
9. Investigate, recommend, initiate, and implement safe changes for any improvement in any instrumentation process automation hardware/software solutions.
10. Liaison with equipment suppliers, service providers, and worldwide counterparts pertaining to any instrument and controls issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Technical Expertise in Automation and Instrumentation including PLC Programming / SCADA.
2. Passionate for new technology.
3. Familiar with IT/network function and configuration.
4. Min. Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics).
5. Minimum 5 years of work experience in Engineering, Instrumentation, and Control system.
6. Good understanding of project planning, project management basic functions and technical planning.
