A well-established company with a diverse portfolio of assets is looking for an IT Professional to be responsible for the organisation’s technology platforms as they are expanding their operations within the region.

Job Responsibilities:

• Designing cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the organization’s requirements for scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Planning and executing the migration of on-premises systems and applications to the cloud.
• Implementing security best practices and controls to protect cloud environments from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Implementing monitoring and logging solutions to track the performance, availability, and cost of cloud resources.
• Designing and implementing disaster recovery (DR) and high availability (HA) solutions to ensure business continuity and resilience in the event of outages or disasters.
• Optimizing cloud costs by analyzing usage patterns, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing cost management strategies such as rightsizing, reserved instances, and budgeting tools.

Requirements to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or other related technical field or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in using mainstream public cloud services, familiarity with Microsoft Azure and AWS products and technologies, and experience in large enterprise applications preferred.
• Familiarity with SQL language, proficiency in one of Python, Java, or Go languages, and experience in developing at least one language preferred.
