Job Description

  • Models Cost Planning – Vehicle cost & profitability study, analysis & strategy to achieve optimum profitability. Scheduled monitoring to gauge actual vs plan on model cost planning.
  • Operation – Plan to ensure department readiness towards vehicle SOP/launch introduction.
  • Budget – Oversee the department budgetary planning & utilization, in-line with company's short to mid-term plan.
  • Lead the Team – Set clear objectives for the team, plan, effective delegation & ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage Team Performance - Oversees the performance of team by setting up performance metrics, regular evaluation & provide constructive feedback.
  • Capability Development - Develop team of young professionals, providing guidance, mentorship & support to foster progress & enhance their capability.
  • People Growth – Implement strategies to address skill enhancement & motivate team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Processes - Accountable for the department's processes, compliance to audit points & adhere to SOPs. Implement PDCA/Kaizen activities for consistent improvement
  • Coordinate with other divisions in Pricing related activities & initiatives (Local & Regional).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Accountancy, or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in pricing, preferably in the automotive industry, with 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Strong analytical skills, project management skill, creative thinking, estimation, budgeting, negotiation & communication skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in pricing analytics tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Excel.
