Location: Johor Bahru, Pahang, Perak, Penang (Island) and Kedah
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration in the Penang/Kedah and Johor Bharu regions.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales objectives.
- Key Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals, to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Analyze sales data and trends to forecast future sales and plan resource allocation accordingly.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, selling skills, and customer service.
- Manage sales budgets and expenses effectively to ensure cost efficiency and maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to support sales initiatives and achieve business objectives.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in medical sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the medical device industry, particularly in orthopedic implants, and knowledge of local healthcare market dynamics.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate with key stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region and work flexible hours as needed.
