Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity RBC Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones. The country employs a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability. You will be responsible for the pre-matching and settlement of trades within the International Markets and to deal with any query investigation relating to these markets in a quicker turnaround and precise in the details. The role is to deliver specific services to external and internal clients with high level of quality, efficiency and fostering a client first mindset. Read more via job description attached. You will be supporting UK region, working hours would be between 3pm to 12am or 4pm to 1am. However, flexibility is required to support business needs. What will you do
- Ensure accuracy of processing is in accordance to RBC IS expectation.
- Assist supervisor in day to day operations of the process.
- Ensure outstanding items, cash and stock recs, are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
- Provide coaching to other team members to ensure cross-training of all aspects of Settlements in order to gain satisfactory cover
- Mitigating risk of potential buy-in on trades
- Assisting line manager with work load allocation amongst team members
- Establish as the single point of contact for process specific escalations
- Completion of knowledge/training within process in accordance to established learning curve
- Resolution on queries for Trade Settlement
- Seek ways to enhance and improve process flow and environment
- Adhere to RBC IS core standards
- Completion of all reports in a timely manner
- Completion of all assigned task within agreed deadline
- Identify ways to reduce failed trades
- Adherence to risk factors and seek ways of mitigation
- Ensuring that all internal cut-off time's are adhered to
- Constant communication with relevant departments for quick resolution
- Completion of failed trade report
- Any prior banking experience in operations / Back office is a plus
- Knowledge on Trade Capture/booking and settlement is a must
- Word Knowledge of different investment instrument types
- PC literate in MS Office applications Excel
- Motivated, flexible, able to be part of a team
- Flexibility in working hours and able to work in a team to achieve goals
