Pixel Artist/2D Artist

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create Pixel art graphics (environment objects, characters and UI Items) for 8bit games

• Work with documentation, compliance with technical requirements

• Work with feedback and working with the lead artist

• Create mood boards, concept art, polishes

• Task Estimations and time trekking 

• Follow established workflow requirements, art pipelines, and best practices to maintain efficient art production processes

• Communication with the technical department and PM 

• Preparation and export of art assets

What kind of professional are we looking for?

COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of experience as a 2D Artist in the game dev

• Knowledge of English

• Knowledge of Pixel art editors, NES graphic editors

• Good understanding of the game development process ( Technical processes/Basic Art Pipelines, Development and preparation of art for animation) 

• Ability to be proactive, and highly organized, with good teamwork skills

• Experience work with Pixel Art

• Experience in creating characters, UI items and backgrounds from concept to final render 

• Collaging and post-polishing skills 

• Freehand drawing skills

• Basic artistic knowledge: Color science, perspective, construction of light, etc.

• Independence and good communication skills. We are expecting a proactive participant in the project.
