Position Overview:

The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible to manage the new CAPEX Projects as well as to support in the implementation, improvement & extension in the plant operations. It is also the responsibility of this position to manage the project to ensure alignment to the company policies and guidelines as well as regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Managing all CAPEX Projects:
   1. Reviews and analyzes capex proposals (documentation, bidding, etc.)
   2. Recommends capex proposal for next level approval.
   3. Manages capex projects with implementation, monitoring, cost tracking, and reporting.
   4. Manage and handle all relevant documents and permits required for delivery/installation and tax exemption (if applicable).
   5. Liaising with Finance Department for payments to suppliers, contractors, and consultants. Monitor the progress payment and update accordingly.
   6. Evaluates projects for acceptance FAT & SAT, overall completion, training & hand-over.
2. Plant extension & Implementation improvement:
   1. Lead in continuous improvement, recommend and development innovation for extension plant operations to support production & maintenance and other function.
   2. Determine the plant capability to produce new innovated products.
   3. Analysis on completion project to identify any issues on operation and implement improvement to align to the business needs.
   4. Manages identification on cost estimation and compilation of information for feasibility study of new potential projects.
3. Managing suppliers & contractors for CAPEX Project:
   1. Establish suppliers & contractors accreditation to ensure compliance to all Company and regulatory requirements including EHS.
   2. Establish contractor’s accreditation through contract management (Purchase & Sale Agreement).
   3. Review the terms and conditions with contract agreements and issue PR & PO according to job.
   4. Manage contractors’ compliance through regular evaluation/compliance audits.
   5. Manages & support with other functions to commission any brown or green field project.

Qualifications:

You are well suited for the role if you have:

• Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering.
• Experience in Project Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• 3 to 5 years managing Green field or Brown field project OR large CAPEX projects.
• Experience in Food Manufacturing/FMCG will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work in the work location.
