• Participate in the Creation of and Implementation of the Global SPC Playbook – the standard methods and practices for SPC Implementation across Global Operations
• Create/Modify projects (in adherence to existing standards)
• Create/Modify database structure (Part names, Machine names, Parameter names, etc.)
• Create/Maintain specification limits
• Implement Infinity Automation Software as per Teleflex Global standards (DMS and DCS)
• Create/Modify configurations in DMS to retrieve/process data from OPC server tags, flat files and external databases
• SPC-related activity
• Evaluate data for historical stability and generate/apply statistical control limits where applicable
• Assist with creation/application of corrective action information
• Assist with generation of system metrics
• Facilitate impromptu and scheduled meetings to address identified process/product issues
• Interface with production personnel
• Training for general SPC and usage of specific projects
• Troubleshooting issues on the shop floor
• Interface with technical personnel
• Training for usage of the dashboard and reporting functionality
• Exploratory Data Analysis of historical data
• Interface with management personnel
• Generate/Review system metrics and reporting mechanisms
• Ensure SPC – CpK, control limit are reviewed on periodic manner.
• To analyze and evaluate data collected as a result of process monitoring for evidence of assignable source of variation.
• Work pro-actively to prevent non-conformances and reduce product variation through standard measurement plans, implementation of advanced gaging and sampling methodology. Evaluate effectiveness via statistical analysis.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineers, Team Leaders, and Business units to implement effective corrective actions addressing process deficiencies.

• Perform any other relevant and related responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time as required by superior. Education / Experience Requirements • BS Degree in technical discipline (engineering, mathematics, statistics, …)
• Experience in SPC, DOE, Gage R&R or other relevant statistical controls.
• Experience with general purpose statistical software (preferably Minitab) desired.
• Experience in regulated industry (preferably medical device) desired. Specialized Skills / Other Requirements • Experience in SPC, DOE, Gage R&R or other relevant statistical controls.
• Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Ability to demonstrate profiency using statistical software (preferably Minitab)
• Ability to mentor other Engineers and Technical personnel on Process Control Concepts
• Ability to coordinate creation and management of PFMEA activities.
