Project Engineer

KL, Penang, Johor Bharu & Sabah

Responsibilities

1. Assist the Project Team/Directors in managing design production as well as carrying out design & technical reviews and monitoring of work implementation;
2. Carry out design calculations and evaluate the costs and effectiveness of the designs;
3. Participate in feasibility studies of projects through the preparation and/or review of project concepts, initial project estimates, conducting options studies and value management exercises as well as system concept design at the planning stage;
4. Preparation of construction shop drawings as and when necessary.

Requirements

1. Possess a Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Technology or Construction Management;
2. 2 years working experience in the property development and construction industry;
3. Experience in construction planning and coordination with consultants for building projects;
4. Knowledge of Structural Design Codes (British Standards & Uniform Building Code) is essential;
5. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
