Manager, Logistics

  • To be based in KLIA, Sepang (Selangor)
  • Oversees warehouse day to day operation, material flows, resource, capacity planning and control. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to inventory control, inbound/outbound delivery, service level maintenance, material handling, import-export licensing, third-party warehousing and shipping/receiving activities.
  • Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints. Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories.
  • Comply with EHS guidance, keep warehouse employee safe, avoid hazardous situation and prevent injuries.
  • Interacts with vendors and peers in worldwide spares depots, manufacturing, finance to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Other Job Requirements

  • Manage end to end operations of Asia spares warehouse, including inbound, outbound shipments, inventory control, order fulfillment, variance, escalation, MRB, NCe/NCi, Productivity, EHS and 3rd party vendor management.
  • Lead and develop operation team fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure strict adherence to high demanding SLA from global internal and external customers.
  • Overseas WMS system with seamless integration with automation equipment.
  • Navigate and ensure compliance with KLIA FCZ regulations to facilitate smooth and compliant operations.
  • Driving warehouse Key Performance Indicators.
  • Drive cost saving initiatives and contribute to the development of strategies to increase productivity and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Excellent system analysis, presentation, and communication skills to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4-6 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role managing large-scale warehouse operations, preferably in the spares parts industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP WM modules, and experience with automation equipment.
