Job Description

• Procurement and Logistics Management : Develop and oversee efficient procurement and logistics processes, identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Policy Development : Establish and regularly update purchasing policies and guidelines to reflect best practices and organizational needs.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Align procurement policies with organizational goals and industry standards, ensuring effective communication with various departments.
• Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing purchasing and cost estimating teams, set clear objectives, and assess performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Performance Reporting : Provide regular reports on target achievements and recommend actions to maintain or improve performance.
• Market Analysis : Stay informed about market trends affecting supply and demand, analyze data, and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement : Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall performance in procurement and logistics functions.

The Successful Applicant

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Bring 6-8 years of experience in procurement management within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in leadership.
• Exhibit strong commercial acumen and excel in negotiating high-value strategic contracts.
• Showcase excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Display outstanding leadership qualities, with strong networking, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in project leadership or change management, with a focus on long-term planning or sustainable procurement, is a valuable advantage.
