Responsibilities:
Project Management: Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. In project initiation, could be requested to prepare project memos, scope of work documents, and organize kick-off meetings and pre-production meetings. Manage various projects including insulation, pipe repair, internal R&D, etc.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, timesheets, and change orders, to ensure project records are complete and accessible. Facilitating communication between project team members, stakeholders, and clients to provide updates, meeting minutes, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives such as project scope, QHSE requirements, and schedules.
Budget Management: Monitoring project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-control measures are implemented to meet financial targets.
Schedule Management: Developing project schedules, setting timelines, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion of project milestones and deadlines.
Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful project outcomes.
Technical Oversight: Providing technical guidance and support to project team members, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards and specifications. Develop technical write-ups and presentation materials for customer reporting, providing support on feasibility, cost, and timeline of insulation/coating work proposals. Support Supply Chain in evaluating vendors' bids for RFQs.
Site Coordination: Lead site works and inspections, involving extensive travel and work on fabrication sites. Coordinate subcontractors, site works, and inspections to ensure project milestones are met.
Compliance: Enforce compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements throughout project execution.
Team Support: Provide support to team members and fulfill any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in project management/engineering or relevant disciplines with 1-2 years of experience in the Coating/Oil & Gas industry. Fresh graduates may be considered.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to write meeting minutes and prepare coherent presentations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with individuals at various levels, including consultants, contractors, and authorities.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in project management, site supervision, MS Office, and ERP software such as SAP.
- Organization Skills: Organized with the ability to maintain proper documentation records.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Good understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
- Optional: Experience in project management for fabrication, coating, and insulation projects is advantageous. Possession of a project management certification is also beneficial.
