SALES EXECUTIVE (GENERAL TRADE)

We are inviting suitable candidates for the following position in the Company;

QL Foods Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of QL Resources Bhd, is an established agro-based manufacturing company, leading in the production of surimi and surimi-based products in Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

• Source and identify new business opportunities, customers, markets, and future buying trends to promote business development while maintaining healthy relationships with existing customers to ensure continuous and long-term business relationships.
• Responsible for timely collection of payment from customers to generate positive cash flow for the company and minimize exposure to bad debts.
• Provide marketing feedback to assist the marketing department in establishing and implementing marketing strategies and perform promotional activities to ensure positive sales growth for the company.
• Handle customers’ pre and post-sales service to resolve all issues related to sales and customer demands and maintain good supplier-customer relationships.
• Assist in other sales-related functions like collecting, chopping, signing delivery orders, and issuing temporary receipts to ensure proper documentation for costing and billing purposes.
• Coordinate with logistics and transport departments to ensure adequate supplies and prompt delivery.
• Monitor and report back on competitor activities, product demand, pricing, and identify business threats and opportunities to mitigate loss of market share and business risk.
• Other duties as assigned by management when deemed necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least SPM qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in the FMCG/Food industry .
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess own transport.
