Principal Engineer I4.0 & Automation

In your new role you will:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using a range of programming languages, including but not limited to JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Python, Ruby, or PHP
• Work on both front-end and back-end development, including UI/UX design, API integration, and database management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including automation development, factory operations, factory IT, etc to ensure successful project delivery
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying and implementing solutions to improve application performance and scalability
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our web applications
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring that all code is properly documented and easily maintainable
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Knowledge and experiences in data governance practices
• Manage complete software life cycle from designing, development, testing, deployment & maintenance
• Effectively analyze problems, harmonize requirements and provide proposals
• Design architecture for systems and databases

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong portfolio of projects showcasing your skills
• Proficiency in a range of programming languages, including but not limited to JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Python, Ruby, or PHP
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and back-end frameworks such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or Django
• Knowledge of database management systems, including relational databases such as SQL, Oracle, Elasticsearch and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Hadoop, etc
• Experience with version control systems, including Bitbucket
• Strong understanding of web development principles, including responsive design, accessibility, and security
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues efficiently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, including AWS, Azure, OpenShift, etc
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Experience with testing frameworks, including Jest, Enzyme, or Pytest
• Experience in building applications using Outsystem, Python, Java, C#, C++, etc
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques
• Implementation & deployment experiences in semiconductor manufacturing environment
• Experience in manufacturing work methods and interaction to high automation systems
• Good communication skills across all levels of corporate hierarchy
• Good analytical skills and ability to visualize physical vs logical models
