Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales & Marketing Support: Support Sales and Marketing staff with technical information about Schaeffler products. Observe industry and competitor trends and report to Industry Sales Manager.
  2. Establish contacts with key customers, providing technical consultancy to secure and grow business. Travelling within the country. Occasionally required to travel regionally in SEA.
  3. Report timely marketing information to management. Handle other assignments as requested by Management.
  4. Lead and supervise local application engineering / field service team. Provide application and engineering consultancy to key customers. Supervise product selection and calculation for customer applications.
  5. Provide advice on lubricants, sealing systems, and installation for Schaeffler products. Conduct product, application, and practical training seminars.

Industry 4.0

  1. Promote and sell Industry 4.0 Solutions and complementary products in the Schaeffler portfolio. Independently develop and expand the customer base; with a focus on Industry 4.0 product portfolio & digital business model.
  2. Manage the Industry 4.0 sales pipeline, ensure Salesforce is updated, and identify opportunities for realization. Support, identify, qualify, and process new Industry 4.0 potential leads & opportunities.
  3. Develop Strategic Industry 4.0 partnerships. Prepare quotations, negotiate, and work with the Sales Team to close sales. Capture market requirements & competitive situation.

Your Qualifications

  1. Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering. Good technical aptitude with the willingness to build strong product technical knowledge.
  2. 5+ years of direct sales experience with new customer acquisition. Past application engineering experience in a relevant company is a plus.
  3. Good leadership & teamwork skills. Comfortable dealing with complexity and changes. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software like Salesforce.
  4. Fluent in English and local dialect. Excellent communication & networking skills. Skilled in business negotiations and presentation of ideas.
