· Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.

  1. Develop and implement sourcing strategies for materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with project requirements.
  2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors to meet the company’s quality, price, and timeline objectives.
  3. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring optimal terms for pricing, quality, delivery, and service.
  4. Manage supplier relationships, addressing performance issues, fostering partnerships, and developing long-term supplier strategies.
  5. Monitor market trends to stay updated on price fluctuations, supply chain risks, and emerging technologies related to construction sourcing.
  6. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and standards in all procurement activities.
  7. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to forecast material and service needs, contributing to accurate budgeting and planning.
  8. Conduct risk assessments of suppliers and procurement activities, identifying and mitigating potential risks to the supply chain.
  9. Lead a team of sourcing specialists, providing guidance and support to achieve sourcing goals.
  10. Prepare reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, supplier performance, and other KPIs for senior management.

Added Preferences: More than 10 years of experience in a related field, previously involved in the construction industry.

Office Hours: Monday - Friday
9.00am to 5.00pm
