Assistant Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer located in [Location].

What a typical day looks like:

1. Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods by performing the following duties.
2. Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain manufacturing control systems for equipment, process, product, automation, and box build.
3. Design an optimized manufacturing processes flow to meet customer product quality and delivery.
4. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods driving on quality, cost, and yield improvement.
5. Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, design layout of equipment, workspace for maximum efficiency and automation implementation.
6. Responsible for maintaining and improving all equipment/processes related to efficiency, cycle times, capacity, and capabilities.
7. Coordinate with customers to determine product specifications, Dfx engagement, and design changes.
8. Participate in early NPI involvement & new capabilities readiness for mass production.
9. Applies FMEA/statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential risk.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

1. Possesses a Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum 8 years of working experience in the related field is required.
