Payroll Executive

The Payroll Executive is responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements and employment legislation. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure payroll accuracy, statutory compliance, and a seamless payroll experience for employees.

Key Responsibilitie

• sManage the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments
• .Verify payroll inputs, including attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, unpaid leave, bonuses, commissions, salary adjustments, and final settlements
• .Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements, including EPF (KWSP), SOCSO (PERKESO), EIS, PCB (Monthly Tax Deduction), and HRD Corp where applicable
• .Prepare and submit statutory payments and reports within the required deadlines
• .Maintain accurate employee payroll records and update information within the HRIS/payroll system
• .Prepare payroll reconciliations, reports, and payroll-related data for management and Finance
• .Respond to employee enquiries regarding payroll, payslips, statutory deductions, tax matters, and payroll policies
• .Liaise with Finance, banking institutions, and relevant government agencies on payroll-related matters
• .Support annual EA Form preparation, year-end payroll activities, and payroll audits
• .Ensure confidentiality of employee payroll information and maintain compliance with internal controls
• .Support other payroll and HR-related responsibilities as assigned

Requiremen

• tsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related fiel
• d.Minimum 2–5 years of experience in payroll administration or payroll processin
• g.Sound knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and local payroll statutory requirement
• s.Experience using payroll systems or HRIS such as UBS Payroll, SQL Payroll, HR2000, AutoCount Payroll, or similar platform
• s.Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and numerical skill
• s.High attention to detail with excellent accuracy in data processin
• g.Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet strict payroll deadline
• s.Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across team
• s.Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalis
• m.Experience processing payroll for a medium to large workforce and knowledge of expatriate payroll will be an added advantag
