Software QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, research, development and test execution of Host Processing Platform in Windows desktop, Windows embedded and Linux Embedded.
• Responsibilities include development of test strategy, test plan and test cases for device library, BSP & Kernel OS.
• Develop test methodology for the planned test and ensure it achieves the testing goal.
• Determine test parameters, specify tests to be performed, debug tests, and resolve test and implementation issues.
• Perform testability and test coverage analysis.
• Implement automated tests in Windows desktop, Windows embedded and Linux Embedded.
• In charge of system integration and debugging (including SW, FW, and HW).
• Work with the R&D team to continuously improve product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Engineering / EE / Computer Science.
• Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience working in software development or test development in an embedded Linux/Windows environment.
• Experience in C++, Shell Scripting, and Python.
• Experience in Windows/Linux systems programming, focusing on configuration interfaces.
• Working knowledge and experience in drivers and hardware-oriented software, with low-level SW/HW debugging skills.
• Experience in software testing and the ability to identify the type of tests needed based on requirements.
• Experience in low-level Kernel programming.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Good command of English.

Remuneration
MYR 8,300 - MYR 13,000
