The Senior Sourcing Manager is responsible for strategically managing the sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring optimal supply chain performance and supplier relationships. The Senior Sourcing Manager collaborates cross-functionally to align sourcing initiatives with business objectives, fosters supplier partnerships, and leads continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness in the opto-mechanical manufacturing sector.

Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize the supply chain for opto-mechanical products.
- Identify and onboard strategic suppliers capable of meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaboration and Coordination
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Ensure sourcing activities support product development and manufacturing goals.
- Supplier Management
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to drive continuous improvement and mitigate risks.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
- Cost Management and Optimization
- Lead cost-saving initiatives and drive projects to achieve cost reductions without compromising quality or delivery.
- Utilize data analytics and metrics to evaluate supplier performance and make informed decisions.
- Market and Regulatory Awareness
- Stay informed about market trends, industry regulations, and technological advancements relevant to sourcing and supply chain management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations in sourcing activities.
- Leadership and Development
- Mentor and develop sourcing team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure team success and professional growth.
Job Requirements:
- Min. 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, within a manufacturing or relevant industry.
- Experience with international sourcing and global supply chain management.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
- Min. bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related discipline. Knowledge and experience in Mechanical/Precision/Optics Engineering is good too.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM) or equivalent preferred.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese communication skills with suppliers/vendors in Asia, Europe, and the USA.
- Ability to work independently and be a good team player.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and sourcing tools/software.
- Willingness and ability to travel overseas to the factory in China and Singapore HQ as needed.
