Job Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize the supply chain for opto-mechanical products.
  • Identify and onboard strategic suppliers capable of meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Collaboration and Coordination
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
  • Ensure sourcing activities support product development and manufacturing goals.
• Supplier Management
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to drive continuous improvement and mitigate risks.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
• Cost Management and Optimization
  • Lead cost-saving initiatives and drive projects to achieve cost reductions without compromising quality or delivery.
  • Utilize data analytics and metrics to evaluate supplier performance and make informed decisions.
• Market and Regulatory Awareness
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry regulations, and technological advancements relevant to sourcing and supply chain management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations in sourcing activities.
• Leadership and Development
  • Mentor and develop sourcing team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure team success and professional growth.

Job Requirements:

• Min. 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, within a manufacturing or relevant industry.
• Experience with international sourcing and global supply chain management.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
• Min. bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related discipline. Knowledge and experience in Mechanical/Precision/Optics Engineering is good too.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM) or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese communication skills with suppliers/vendors in Asia, Europe, and the USA.
• Ability to work independently and be a good team player.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and sourcing tools/software.
• Willingness and ability to travel overseas to the factory in China and Singapore HQ as needed.
