Job Description:

Stratford International Language Centre (SILC) is a licensed language center based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Approved by the Ministry of Education, we offer a variety of language courses to local and international students seeking to learn a new language or to enhance their existing skills.

We seek a dynamic and dedicated full-time ESL Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop curriculum for the English subject and any other relevant subjects/courses offered by the company.
• Develop and implement lesson plans for subjects/courses offered by the company.
• Conduct teaching and learning activities for students and course participants.
• Design, develop, and perform assessments on students and/or course participants.
• Submit regular performance and status reports on academic matters to the Principal or Managing Director.
• Maintain standardized guidelines.
• Display excellent classroom management.
• Provide a pleasant learning environment.
• Conduct placement interviews and assess levels of incoming learners.
• Carry out any other extra duties assigned from time to time by the Academic Director.
• Assist the Principal or Managing Director in the development and implementation of curricular and co-curricular activities for students and/or course participants.
