With forward warehouses in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Sarawak, Sabah, and beyond, gradually expanding across Malaysia and Singapore.
Job Description:
1. Full Set of Accounts Management:
- Oversee and manage the complete accounting process, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
2. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and analyze financial reports, providing insights to management for decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Conduct variance analysis to monitor financial performance and suggest corrective actions.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored financial solutions to meet their business objectives.
- Monitor client satisfaction and work to resolve any issues promptly.
4. Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate new business leads and convert them into long-term clients.
5. Internal Collaboration:
- Work closely with the finance and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Provide financial insights and support to other departments as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of audit documents and liaise with external auditors.
6. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all financial transactions comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and manage financial risks, implementing controls to mitigate them.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and practices.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proven ability to handle a full set of accounts independently.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Salary Range: RM4,000 - RM5,000
